About the Author
Jesús D. Bolaño is an innovative Christian communicator, media producer and digital strategist whose career reflects a constant pursuit: redeeming technology for the message of the Kingdom. Born in El Copey, Cesar, Colombia, he was shaped in character and faith by the example of his mother, Mercedes Alicia Madariaga Díaz, and the support of his siblings.
From an early age, Jesús showed a natural gift for leadership. As a student he served as a student representative and was president of the Asociación Futuros Agricultores de Colombia (Future Farmers of Colombia), where he first came to understand the value of organization and its impact on society. His training broadened during his service as a Marine in the Colombian Navy; it was in the military that he received formal training in radio announcing and production, beginning a broadcasting career that has continued since 2004.
His spiritual and ministerial foundation was laid in the city of Bogotá. There, the ministry of Pastor Eriberto Ruiz and his family was a key pillar of his growth. Under that covering, he completed his theological studies at the Bible Institute of the Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Internacional (IPUI) in Bogotá, which deepened his commitment to biblical rigor and to serving the local church.
Professionally, he is a graduate in audiovisual media production from SENA, Colombia's National Learning Service. Together with his wife and partner in purpose, Blanca Beatriz Borrero, he founded On Production Colombia SAS, a company through which he led high-impact projects for the country's leading television networks, including Caracol, RCN and Fox Telecolombia. His technical experience also led him to develop communication strategies for high-level government agencies, among them the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Transportation and the National Police.
He currently lives in Georgia, in the United States, where he leads Click Pentecostal, a platform devoted to discipling the next generations in the digital world. As a researcher in "Artificial Intelligence" applied to ministry, Jesús works alongside the Unidos Mejor ministry, equipping the twenty-first-century Church to cast its net into the deep waters of the global network.
